My number one goal is to make sure both parties have a mutual understanding and are able to reach a voluntary agreement. Since every city has specific requirements, we follow the legal protocol and this includes providing the tenant with a copy of a disclosure notice (RSO). As a negotiation specialist, my job is to help both parties understand the benefits of a voluntary agreement; For the landlord by permitting him or her to offer the unit at a higher market-value rent with the certainty he or she will not be sued and as a tenant by way of financial compensation. This is a "Win-Win situation."
Agreements can be: waived rent, assistance in moving/ relocating, among others. My strategy is to ensure both parties agree with each term and they are satisfied with the agreement before execution.
A big part of my commitment is to be there until you have fully recovered your property. In every step, we'll make sure tenants and landlords fulfilled their agreed responsibilities these includes making sure the property is in good condition, money is received, etc.
